Alia, Pragya’s sister, was dating Purab, Abhi’s friend, despite his feelings for Bulbul. Alia discovered that Purab loved another woman whom she felt loved. So she had her brother marry Pragya, which made Pragya miserable. Her brother did it to make Alia happy. Pragya made Abhi’s grandmother happy, and she wanted Pragya to marry him.
